The 5th UUK / Guild HE Code of Practice Practitioners Conference will be held at the University of Manchester on Tuesday 25th June 2019.
This is a free event for universities that are members of the UUK / Guild HE Code of Practice. A very exciting programme includes Emergency Incident Planning, Allocation Policy vs Reality, Common Audit Failings, Tenant Fees Act, Media/Social Media Impact, Preparing for an audit and Code Update. The event is limited to 80 delegates. To ensure the broadest representation, institutions may send a maximum of 2 delegates free of charge. If more than 2 people from any one institution wish to attend, the additional delegates should email Claire on firstname.lastname@example.org and request to join the waiting list. Those on the waiting list will be advised if spaces are available near the time.
The University of Manchester Barnes Wallis Building, just a couple of minutes’ walk from Piccadilly Station.
Rooms are being held at the Pendulum Hotel on the night of 24th June at the preferential rate of £89 B&B. To book and pay, ring the hotel directly on 0161 955 8062 and quote GA01670. Reservations should be made before 13th May, after which all unreserved rooms will be released and the preferential rate cannot be guaranteed.
Due to anticipated interest in the event, delegates MUST give at least 5 working days’ notice of cancellation. Failure to do so will result in a late cancellation/non-attendance charge of £100 + Vat.
