2020 RA Awards

The 3rd Annual CUBO RA Awards take place on 6 May 2020, during the CUBO Residence Life Conference at Loughborough University's Imago Conference Centre.

Role of the Residence Assistant

Residence Assistants (RAs) carry out essential work in developing a living and learning community. Sometimes known by other job titles, essentially they are students who work or volunteer in student accommodation, helping their fellow students to adapt to and thrive in university life. The CUBO RA Awards recognise and reward their hard work. Supporting the CUBO strategic theme of rewarding innovation and championing best practice, we are delighted to open applications for the 3rd Annual CUBO RA Awards for 2020.

RAs and Residence Life Professionals provide essential support for hundreds of thousands of  students every year. Only through their dedication, resourcefulness and hard work are we able to provide the environments and additional educational opportunities outside lecture theatres where they can learn, flourish and be supported. The CUBO RA Awards allow us to honour those whose contributions have been recognised by their peers as truly exceptional.
