Current Vice Chair Kirsty Woodward (University of Leicester) will become Chair Elect, while Jane Donachy (University of the Arts, London) has been appointed CUBO Vice Chair.
Jo Hardman is Head of Commercial Services at Lancaster University
Jo has headed up commercial services at Lancaster University for the past eight years, having joined the department as Business Development Manager. He has a master's degree in marketing and previously held marketing and research roles at Lancaster University Student Union.
Kirsty Woodward is Director of Campus Services at the University of Leicester.
Kirsty joined the university a decade ago after a period as a senior project manager for Russell Partnerships. Prior to that, she spent 10 years as Head of Catering at the University of Warwick and three years in hotel general management. Since joining the CUBO Board, Kirsty has overseen the conference portfolio, a role that will now be taken on by Phil Scott (Manchester Metropolitan University).
Jane Donachy is Associate Director of Catering, Retail and Accommodation Services at the University of the Arts, London
Jane joined UAL in 2012 as Head of Accommodation Services. Her earlier career includes contract assignments at senior level across hospitality, health clubs and contract catering, as well as a decade in New Zealand as General Manager, North Island for contract caterer Spotless Services. Jane will continue to oversee the membership portfolio.
Outgoing Chair Gillian Almond will remain on the CUBO Board until the end of 2020.
