Living Black at University is approaching its fourth anniversary, and the project team is inviting colleagues across the sector to review a new draft Theory of Change.
The project began with research carried out by Halpin and commissioned by our partners Unite Students. Since then, its findings have helped universities and accommodation providers better understand and improve the experiences of Black students. Through the Living Black Commission, which CUBO helps to support, members continue to work together to make positive, practical changes.
To shape the next stage of the work, the project team has created a draft Theory of Change. It outlines the aims of the programme, the steps involved and how progress might be measured. The team is now seeking feedback to help strengthen the draft and ensure it is useful across the sector.
