CUBO and GSL partner to deliver deeper insight into UK & Ireland PBSA

10 March 2023      Jan Capper, CUBO Executive Director

Global Student Living (GSL) and College & University Business Officers (CUBO) today announced a new partnership that will include the development and delivery of a new co-branded annual report into UK & Ireland purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), as well as brand affiliation benefits and the cross-promotion of CUBO and GSL events in the UK.

The new annual insights report will be launched at the CUBO Summer Conference 2023, held at the University of Glasgow from 5th to 7th July, and will be made available to all CUBO institutional and individual members.

“We’re delighted to be able to formalise our partnership with CUBO this year,” said Tim Daplyn, CEO of Global Student Living. “We’re committed to the widest possible sharing of knowledge and best practice in PBSA across the markets in which we operate. The UK & Ireland is obviously hugely important in that respect, and CUBO are the natural partner for us in achieving this.”

Jan Capper, Executive Director, CUBO commented, “CUBO supports over 1,000 leaders across 119 institutions with responsibility for commercial services, and student accommodation is a key part of that mix. Our partnership with GSL will allow us to bring a new, deeper level of insight to our members through a better understanding of the performance of student accommodation in the UK & Ireland, but also the emerging global trends that will shape its future.”
