Accommodation is included for delegates at Bluebell on Wednesday and Thursday night. Early arrivals can book Tuesday 7th July through the CUBO website.

Getting there

Travel to and from the University of Warwick is remarkably easy and efficient. There are many inexpensive flights connecting Coventry with most major UK cities, plus extensive, bus and train connections.

CUBO is committed to sustainable events and reducing our carbon footprint; to support these aims we recommend delegates consider the sustainability of their travel options and review their institution's sustainability policy.

 

The University of Warwick is accessible by coach, both National Express and FlixBus operate direct routes into Coventry. 

Coaches arrive at Coventry Pool Meadow Bus Station, the main coach hub, located in the city centre with easy connections to local transport and shops.

From Pool Meadow, you can reach the University of Warwick Campus easily via:

  • National Express Coventry Bus 12X, which runs directly to University Interchange (main campus).
  • Taxis, which are available directly outside the station. (approx £15)

 

Coventry Rail Station is the closest major main-line station to the University of Warwick, located around four miles from campus. It offers frequent direct services from London Euston and Birmingham, making it one of the most convenient arrival points for delegates travelling from across the UK.

From Coventry Station, you can reach campus easily via:

  • National Express Coventry Bus 12X, which runs directly to University Interchange (main campus)
  • Taxis, available directly outside the station (approx £15)

If you’re travelling locally within the region, nearby stations Canley and Tile Hill may offer a shorter onward journey.

The University of Warwick is easy to reach by road and is well connected to the UK motorway network.

The campus sits close to the A45, A46, and A444, providing straightforward links from the M6, M40, M1 and M42.

Driving Routes

  • From the North (M6): Leave at Junction 3 and follow signs for Coventry/Bedworth, then the A444 towards the city, connecting to routes for the University.
  • From the South (M40): Exit at Junction 15, join the A46 northbound towards Coventry, then follow local routes to campus. (The A46 is the main link from the M40 to Coventry and Warwick University.)
  • From the East (M1) or West (M42): Connect to the A45 or A46, both of which lead directly towards Coventry and onward to the University.
    (The A45 and A46 form the primary approaches into Coventry from these motorways.)

 

The University of Warwick is well served by several major UK airports, with convenient options for both domestic and international travellers.

Birmingham Airport (BHX)

Birmingham is the closest and most convenient airport for Warwick, offering extensive UK and international connections.

From Birmingham Airport, you can reach the University via onward public transport or pre‑booked taxi services.

East Midlands Airport (EMA)

Located near Nottingham, East Midlands Airport operates a range of international and low‑cost flights.
Coach services to Coventry are available but operate infrequently, so please check timings before you travel.
