As of 23 April 2019, CUBO has strengthened its staff team with two new part-time positions to support the key strategic objectives of developing membership benefits and raising the profile of commercial and campus services in the higher education sector.
Joining CUBO in April are Faye Sully in the role of marketing and partnerships manager, and Sabrina Williams as administrator. They will work with existing staff Jan Capper, CEO and Claire Furnival, operations manager.
Faye's background includes marketing management and business development roles in legal services and the university sector. Faye will be well known to CUBO members for her work in a freelance capacity in launching and developing the CUBO Awards among other projects. Sabrina developed her administrative skills in the NHS after graduating in English Literature and is returning to work after starting a family.
CUBO evolved from an unincorporated society to a company limited by guarantee in March 2017 and appointed its CEO in June 2017. A key task for the new CEO has been to plan and implement a staff structure to support the Board's ambitious plans.
"This is excellent progress and a sensible evolution in keeping with our aspirations and delivery of the strategic plan," commented Stewart Ross, CUBO Chair.
