A new report from GSL and CUBO published in July 2023 explores how different international cohorts rate, choose and experience their student accommodation.
Future-proof: meeting the diverse needs of international students is a cross-sector, cross-country report into student feedback on student accommodation, using GSL's large data source and customised for CUBO. It considers the national picture and performance by mission group before delving deeper into the international student accommodation experience, with particular focus on the key markets of China, India and Nigeria.
"The insights here provide food for thought in these critical but perhaps less studied areas," says CUBO Board member Jo Hardman.
The report in many cases confirms the belief that demand for higher quality, and better services and support is growing. It also supports evidence from other sources that accommodation is one of the significant non-academic factors affecting choice of university.
